OUR STORY

Our Journey – from Three Men in Rented Premises to a Modern Industrial Company

Since 1991, we have developed from a small company with three employees into a modern steel company specializing in customized solutions for food, pharma and infrastructure. Along the way, we have built new facilities, completed a generational change, acquired companies, and expanded both our machinery and staff. We have listed some of our most important milestones below.

Our Journey through the Years

1991
The Company is Founded
On May 1, 1991, the company opens its doors in rented premises at Limfjordsvej 7. From the beginning, the founder, Martin Muf, has a clear ambition to deliver quality and reliability in all blacksmith work. Three employees make up the original team.

First Step towards Growth
The company buys a building plot on Limfjordsvej 9. The investment marks a clear need for more space and a desire to create facilities that can be adapted to production and support solid growth.

New Construction and more Hands
The new workshop is completed, and the company moves into Limfjordsvej 9. The number of employees grows to 15, which is a testament to continued development. In the same year, the son, Kenneth Muf, joins the company as a blacksmith, and he later begins an education as a mechanical engineer as a basis for the next generation.

The Generational Change Begins
Kenneth buys 20 percent of the company. This marks the start of a planned change of ownership and ensures that the company remains in the family's hands.

Technical Strengthening
After completing his education, Kenneth chose to work outside the company for a few years to gain broader experience. He returns as a mechanical engineer, and with his combination of practical experience and technical knowledge, he elevates the construction work and strengthens the company's technological profile.

A New Chapter Begins
The generational change is completed when Kenneth takes over the company. At the same time, the customer segment is expanded from primarily dairy and classic industry to also include food, pharma and infrastructure, areas with stricter requirements for documentation and quality.

Space is No Longer Sufficient
Increasing order intake makes the existing buildings too small. The company therefore rents extra space at Limfjordsvej 11 and expands the CNC department with new machines to meet the demand for complex special items.

New Framework for Development
The company acquires Limfjordsvej 13 and moves to larger and more modern facilities. The improved framework provides a better working environment, extra production space, and the opportunity to undertake more and larger projects.

Strengthening through Acquisition
The company buys Wikka, which adds new knowledge and more special skills. Wikka's owner Lars Nielsen and 4 employees become an integrated part of the team and contribute to the continued growth.

The Company is Growing
The number of employees reaches 45. A strong team of blacksmiths, project managers, technicians and specialists delivers solutions to some of Denmark's most demanding industries.

A New Visual and Strategic Direction
A new strategy is launched, which includes rebranding, a new name and a modernized visual expression. The focus is on appearing as the innovative and professional partner the company already is in practice.
